Role Objectives

Effectively manage assigned client (landlords, tenants) in leasing transactions to achieve agreed revenue and profitability targets.  


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and Manage all retail & commercial leasing transaction on behalf of the clients (landlords)
  • Undertake marketing plan and developments of the leasing services 
  • Undertake and manage all the pitching  proposal to the landlords/developers
  • Undertake presentations of the projects to all prospect tenants
  • Handle and follow up all enquiries from prospect tenants. For other enquiries, co-ordinate with the Commercial Leasing Team to refer them to the related team member
  • Maintain and develop the relationship with the landlords and tenants
  • Develop, update and maintain database of tenants and properties available for lease
  • Attend the meeting with landlord / clients as and when required
  • Organize events to launch leasing projects
  • Implement and participate in major projects
  • Assist in minimising vacancies by strategising & leading initiatives
  • Site visits as required and make recommendations to the clients
  • Update Reports as and when required
  • To be fully conversant with and advise the client on changes in legislation that affect Leasing activity
  • Vet leases in conjunction with Solicitors and make recommendations based on the clients' prepared terms and conditions
  • Become familiar with and utilise Jones Lang LaSalle systems in addition to standard MS Office software
  • Regularly communicate strategy and performance progress in own area of leasing  


Reporting to Head of Market, Associate Director understands that s/he represents the Company to our clients, and that s/he is the first point of contact focused on building relationship. S/he maintains a very polished and professional demeanour and appearance, and represents Jones Lang LaSalle standards at all times.


Required Qualifications
  • The perfect candidate for this position is bright, enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude, who is eager to learn and excellent at Presentation Skills
  • S/he is great at following through with all persons s/he comes into contact with – the clients, Developers, other Leasing Team Members, vendors, and other business
  • At least 5 years' experience in commercial leasing or in area related to real estate
  • Understanding of real estate market
  • High networking with MNCs and/ or real estate developers and/ or banking
  • High profile of track record transactions
  • Able to work independently and also in a team
  • Personality fit with the culture – personable, energetic, proactive, open-minded
  • Strong time management skills – able to prioritize and multi-task
  • Exemplary proficiency in English
  • Excellent customer service attitude and mindset
  • Motivated – a self starter
  • Great communication – able to relay correct information, listen, and relate
