Two key appointments to the RICS advisory group in Vietnam

JLL Vietnam is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Wyatt MRICS and Chris Murphy FRICS to the Vietnam Advisory Board of the RICS.


​​JLL Vietnam is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Wyatt MRICS and Chris Murphy FRICS to the Vietnam Advisory Board of the RICS. The advisory board has been set up to promote the RICS in Vietnam, organise CPD (continuing professional development) events, increase membership, form close relationships with universities and government authorities and increase the level of professionalism within the Vietnam real estate industry.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is the mark of property professionalism worldwide. It covers all aspects of property, construction and associated environmental issues. RICS has 140,000 members globally and represents, regulates and promotes the work of property professionals throughout 146 countries.

RICS members are known as chartered surveyors and are recognised by the designation after their name: MRICS (Member of RICS), FRICS (Fellow of RICS) and AssocRics (Associate of RICS).

The RICS regulates and promotes the profession; maintains the highest educational and professional standards; protect clients and consumers via a strict code of ethics; and provide impartial advice, analysis and guidance. Stephen Wyatt is the Country Head of JLL Vietnam and is responsible for overall operations of the company. Joining the industry in London in 1996, Stephen has over 17 years’ experience with various international real estate consultancies. He has broad and diverse experience in leasing, development consultancy and investments transactions covering three continents, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Chris Murphy oversees the Valuation and Advisory Services capability in Vietnam. Chris has over 30 years experience as a professional real estate adviser. He specialises in valuation of commercial and residential property investments with a career based largely in Hong Kong and also including the Middle East and UK.
