1. JLL appointed as Lead Marketing Agent for OneHub Saigon
OneHub Saigon has a total area of up to 12 hectares with a variety of amenities including a mixed-use commercial building, seven office towers, two work-office-home-office buildings and a training centre with a total Gross Floor Area of 360,000sqm. OneHub Saigon is a joint venture between Ascendas-Singbridge and Saigon Bund Capital Partners. Located at the entrance of Saigon High-Tech Park, within the growing economic zone and national construction projects.

2. Upgraded Chu Lai Port opens
Quảng Nam Province has put into operation the Chu Lai Port as a key logistics hub for the central and Central Highlands region after a one-year upgrade and expansion. The project cost VNĐ120 billion (US$5.2 million), raising the level of investment to build Chu Lai Port from 2010 to the present to nearly VNĐ800 billion.​


3. Ba Ria-Vung Tau to have new industrial zone
The southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau plans to build an industrial zone in Châu Đức District’s Đá Bạc Commune. The Dong A Chau Duc Joint Stock Company will be the investor of the project. Total investment will be VND530 billion (US$23.5 million). The industrial zone is expected to attract investment in manufacturing consumption goods, mechanics, electric-electronics and pharmaceutical and medical equipment; as well as processing farm produce and food and providing logistics service.
4. Hyundai Engineering wins $320 mln order to build industrial plant in Vietnam
South Korea's Hyundai Engineering said Sunday that it has won a US$320 million order to build facilities at a Vietnamese petrochemical complex. Under the deal, the builder will construct support infrastructure for the water supply at the Long Son petrochemical complex, located some 100 kilometers southeast of the country's capital Ho Chi Minh City. The project is to be completed within 47 months after the groundbreaking.

5. Lotte signs contract to build $884 million Eco-Smart City
Korean Lotte Group and the HCMC People’s Committee signed a contract to build up the Eco-Smart City project in Thu Thiem New Urban Area. With the​ investment capital of $884 million, Lotte Eco-Smart City was designed as a modern complex covering six plots in Functional Area 2A in Thu Thiem. The 74,000-square metre site will incorporate a shopping mall, offices, hotels, serviced residences, and apartments. The 11 residential towers, 15-40 storeys each, covering 50,000sq.m, will be built first.​

6. VN airports serve over 55m passengers in seven months
Airports across the country served 55.41 million passengers in the period from January to July this year, reported the Civil Aviation Authority of Việt Nam. The number of passengers passing through terminals nationwide in July alone was 9.11 million, a y-o-y increase of 12.2%. Of which, international arrivals were 2.34 million, up 2.1%, and domestic travelers were 6.77 million, up 16.2%. Recently, the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) has taken a series of measures to enhance the capacity of local airports, especially the three international airports of Nội Bài, Tân Sơn Nhất and Đà Nẵng.​

7. $44 million investment in Tien Yen District
Eight memorandum of understandings were signed in the northern Quang Ninh Province’s Tien Yen District on Friday, for investment projects in waste treatment, poultry, breeding and sea port development. They are worth a total capital of VND1 trillion (US$44 million). Tien Yen District covers around 65,200ha and has a 35km coastline, and has favourable conditions to develop its agriculture, industry and tourism sectors.
