CHICAGO, Jan. 31, 2022 – For the third consecutive year, JLL (NYSE: JLL) has been named to Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI), which tracks the performance of public companies committed to transparency in gender-data reporting. The reference index measures gender equality across five pillars: female leadership & talent pipeline, equal pay & gender pay parity, inclusive culture, anti-sexual harassment policies and pro-women brand.

“We are committed to accelerating our progress toward a more diverse and inclusive future, which is core to our purpose of shaping the future of real estate for a better world,” said Mary Bilbrey, JLL’s Chief Human Resources Officer. “Our focus on gender equity has never been more important, as women continue to be disproportionately affected by the pandemic. We continue to lead with empathy and flexibility, placing well-being at the forefront of the future workforce. We are honored that Bloomberg has again recognized our gender equality efforts.”

JLL scored at or above a global threshold established by Bloomberg, reflecting disclosure and the achievement or adoption of best-in-class statistics and policies.

“We are proud to recognize JLL and the other 417 companies included in the 2022 GEI for their commitment to transparency and setting a new standard in gender-related data reporting,” said Peter T. Grauer, Chairman of Bloomberg and Founding Chairman of the U.S. 30% Club. “Even though the threshold for inclusion in the GEI has risen, the member list continues to grow. This is a testament that more companies are working to improve upon their gender-related metrics, fostering more opportunity for diverse talent to succeed in their organizations.”

As part of its ambition to be the most inclusive and diverse commercial real estate company, JLL is advancing gender equality through its hiring and development of female talent. Notably, JLL continues to add women to its senior leadership ranks, with women comprising 45% of its independent board members and with half of JLL’s eight largest countries by revenue (commonly referred to as the J8) – China, India, Germany and the UK – led by women.

Clients and third-party organizations continue to recognize JLL globally for its ethics, corporate citizenship and commitment to being an employer of choice. JLL has received the following awards in the last year:

  • Drucker Institute WSJ Management Top 250
  • Ethisphere’s World’s Most Ethical Companies
  • Fortune World’s Most Admired Companies
  • Human Rights Campaign Foundation Corporate Equality Index
  • Newsweek America’s Most Responsible Companies
